Through our website, we try to present you in the best way our effort and our desire to become your holiday an unforgettable experience. The “Mastiha” is ideally situated in a fertile valley next to the river Katrari at an altitude of just 45meters, on the southeast side of the island, in the village Kalamoti, a medieval village with a rich architecture, tradition and history and which it can be the basis for exploring the medieval villages, the 11th century monasteries, the “Homer’s Stone” and many unexplored beaches that the island offers.
Our accommodation is a new, modern and comfortable resort filled with the warm Chian hospitality. It consists of one-room and two-rooms apartments stone-built, following the typical Chian medieval and modern style, decorated with taste and are able to accommodate 2-5 people each.
The “Mastiha” is ideal for family vacations as it is located in a peaceful area although in a small distance you will find the Kalamoti`s market where there you can daily buy local products such as fresh fishes, vegetables and fruits, as well as two of the most beautiful beaches of Chios, “Komi” and “Mavros Gialos”, with restaurants and bars for nightlife.
